The A318 Elite Airbus was launched in November 2005 as a lower cost option to the successful A319CJ. It has a choice of two cabin layouts that can seat up to 14 and 18 passengers. Like the A319CJ , the A318 Elite Airbus falls in the category of heavy jet type of the private jet family .
